United Way of Mason County has exceeded their $333,000.00 goal by 107% with pledges totaling $356,186.72. This is approximately 8.3% more than in 2009.
“We are so excited that we were able to exceed our goal by the end of the year, stated Brad Reed, Campaign Co Chair.
"Words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation to all those who joined us in making this campaign a success," said, Todd Reed, Brad's father and fellow Co-Chair. This was the combined effort of over 100 volunteers and thousands of individuals and businesses making a financial contribution."
More than 98% of the dollars raised will stay right here in Mason County and awarded to a wide range of local programs that are addressing our community’s most critical issues. This includes assisting individuals and families in becoming financially stable, teaching people to have a healthier lifestyle and helping children to become successful.
